Maneli is the owner and stylist of Salon Roya and Kalico Salon. She has been a stylist since 2010; specializing in scissor cuts, razor cuts, and natural colors and highlights . She has a passion for her job and believes that hair styling is an art form. Her hair cuts are designed to grow out well and move naturally. Maneli enjoys collaborating with her clients to achieve a shared vision, using her expert perspective to create a polished and professional look.

Kylee studied cosmetology and hair design at the Aveda Institute of Portland. She specializes in vivids and fantasy colors including raccoon tails and such. She also enjoys cutting shags and layered hair cuts. Kylee is good at listening to her clients needs and conceptualizing a look that works for them.

Deft has over a year of experience behind the chair and loves creating custom blonding, color corrections, vivid color transformations, and bold placements that feel creative and completely personalized. He is especially drawn to precision haircuts, soft layering, and shaggy alternative styles that bring out individuality and effortless texture.

Outside of the salon, he can usually be found at a local café with a funky drink, journaling or sketching while listening to music. They also love analog media, cooking for friends, and making art. He looks forward to welcoming every client into our space.

Chloe

Chloe (they/them) is a graduate of Beau Monde Academy with a strong focus on cutting and creative self-expression through hair. They love creating styles that help clients feel confident, comfortable, and fully themselves, with a passion for razor cuts, vivid colors, and anything artistic or unconventional.

Outside of the salon, Chloe can usually be found by the river or growing their collection of classic ’80s horror VHS tapes—always drawing inspiration from creativity, nostalgia, and individuality.
Kait studied cosmetology at the Aveda Institute of Portland and has a passion for helping clients embrace their natural texture with confidence. She specializes in curly hair of all lengths, from short crops to long, flowing curls, creating shapes that feel effortless and authentic. Kait also loves crafting pixie cuts, buzz cuts, and alternative styles that celebrate individuality and self-expression.

Outside of the salon, Kait enjoys writing, painting, collecting fashion, and creating jewelry from recycled materials. Her creative spirit and appreciation for personal style inspire every haircut they create.
